About Us
Our love for events started years ago while helping our friend decorate her graduation party. From then on we learned that we make a great team doing events but as a hobby and not really a business. Later on, we decided to take this passion and teamwork seriously and started Leaf & Luna. Fun fact: the name represents the two of us; Valerie's love for florals and greenery - Leaf and Nyawira's love for astronomy - Luna.
We pride ourselves on designing unforgettable experiences and curating intimate moments for each of our unique clients. We understand how scary and overwhelming planning an event can be! So let us take on the stress so you can focus on living in the moment.

"Leaf"
My love for event planning goes back as far as I can remember. From throwing parties to being on the prom committee in high school. I loved taking the lead on anything that needed to be planned.
The thrill was always a part of me, so, for my second internship at university, I applied to an event planning company and loved it! From then on I've lived, dreamed, and breathed event planning and design. A bit obsessive, maybe but what better way to live than with passion?
My personal style is definitely modern and clean with lots of florals and greenery

I have no idea how I ended up doing events but my love for maths, physics, business and visual arts (yes, I love all of them almost equally so don’t try to put me in a box) is actualised when i’m working on dimensions, structures and small intricate details within a space to make it look good and feel good, so here I am!
I started out planning festivals creating an experience for hundreds of people but once I started doing more personalised events with Val I loved how decor can turn something that was already special into a magical encounter. It’s like stamping the grandiosity or beauty of your moment; like when you see the graceful/ delicate flowers leading down the aisle or you walk into a launch and there is a vibe about it..
